View file system network devices

Network-attached storage is a file-level storage architecture that makes stored data more accessible to networked devices.

Steps

  1. Select a storage system that supports File.
  2. Select System > File Configuration and click the NETWORK DEVICES tab.

    The following properties display:

    • Network Device—Network device ID
    • Node—Node ID
    • Slot—Slot ID
    • Port—Port ID
    • Link Status—Link status indicator

    Click Details icon to view additional properties.

    The following properties display:

    • Network device ID
    • Node—Node ID
    • MAC—MAC address
    • Slot—Slot ID
    • Port—Port ID
    • Physical Links—Physical links
    • Mode—Mode
    • Link Status—Link status
    • Type—Type
    • Speed—Link status
    • MTU—MTU (The maximum transmission unit (MTU) is the largest size frame or packet - in bytes or octets (eight-bit bytes) - that can be transmitted across a data link. It is mostly used in reference to packet size on an Ethernet network using the Internet Protocol (IP).
    • Duplex—Duplex
    • Auto Negotiation—Auto Negotiation
    • Firmware—Firmware version
